ST. LUKE WOMEN OF FAITH MISSION STATEMENT

The St. Luke Women of Faith is a church support group of dedicated Catholic women that furnishes liturgical assistance for their parish. Through donations, hands, hearts, and physical assistance we accomplish our purpose. We help other ministries when solicited. We do it with love for our parish, our pastor, and fellow parishioners and above all for the praise and love of God.
The primary purpose of the St. Luke Women of Faith is the care and set up of the sanctuary environment, which includes changing the altar linens and banners, washing and ironing the purificators, replacing burned out candles, cleaning the altar candle holders, replacing the Holy Water in the fonts and cleaning them, placing flowers in the sanctuary and keeping them fresh, and decorating the Sanctuary for Christmas and Easter.

                                                                                                       MEMBERSHIP

Membership includes the women of St. Luke Parish who sign up and participate in our activities in any capacity. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm. While all women are encouraged to attend the meetings, there are many other ways to serve and be a part of the group. We are always looking for new women and what they can contribute to increase our ministry. To join our membership, contact President, Martha Fraley at 615-896-5780.
