ST. LUKE WOMEN OF FAITH
The St. Luke Women of Faith is a ministry of dedicated Catholic women committed to serving our parish through faith, stewardship, and fellowship. Through our time, talents, and generous support, we work to enhance the worship experience and provide assistance to the parish community. We joyfully collaborate with and support other parish ministries whenever needed, serving with love for God, our parish family, and one another.
A primary responsibility of the Women of Faith is the care and preparation of the church sanctuary. This ministry helps maintain a beautiful and reverent worship environment by caring for the altar and liturgical furnishings. Our members assist with changing altar linens and seasonal banners, laundering and ironing purificators, maintaining candles and candle holders, replenishing and cleaning holy water fonts, arranging and caring for sanctuary flowers, and decorating the church for the liturgical seasons, especially Christmas and Easter.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership includes the women of St. Luke Parish who sign up and participate in our activities in any capacity. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm. While all women are encouraged to attend the meetings, there are many other ways to serve and be a part of the group. We are always looking for new women and what they can contribute to increase our ministry. To join our membership, contact President , Ginny Williams at 615-957-6509.
