St. Luke Religious Education Program
The St. Luke Religious Education Program is dedicated to helping children, youth, and families grow in their knowledge, love, and practice of the Catholic faith. Through faith formation, prayer, scripture, and service, our program provides students with a strong spiritual foundation and encourages them to develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
Our classes are designed to deepen understanding of Catholic beliefs, traditions, and values while fostering a sense of community and active participation in parish life. We recognize parents as the primary educators of their children in the faith and strive to partner with families in nurturing discipleship both at home and within the parish community.
A key component of our program is Sacramental Preparation. Students are guided in their preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Holy Communion, helping them understand the significance of God's mercy and the gift of the Eucharist. Older students also receive preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, where they deepen their commitment to Christ and are strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Sacramental preparation includes classroom instruction, prayer experiences, retreats or special activities, and family involvement opportunities to support students on their faith journey.
