Knights of Columbus
|
About Us The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic fraternal organization in the world. We have 170 members in Smyrna and are led by officers who are elected every two years. The main purpose of our order is the widows and orphans of our deceased brothers. We also support several seminarians and donated regularly to Right to Life and Pregnancy Support Center. We are not a secret organization but do restrict our meetings and exemplification ceremonies to members only. The entire family and community are welcome to all other Knight events. In addition, St. Luke council offers several activities for the whole parish throughout the year such as the School’s Out Summer picnic, Altar Server Fun Night, Halloween Weiner Roast and Hayride, Children’s Christmas Party and Adult Christmas Party. We also sponsor several Lenten meal nights and spaghetti supper fund raisers. Interested in Joining? If you are interested in knowing more about our organization or wish to transfer your membership to our council, please call the person listed on the Knights newsletter found in the Narthex. 2026-2027 Officers: Grand Knight - Joe Kisor Deputy Grand Knight - Dr. Phil Alger Chancellor - Dave Rinderer Recorder - Cody Noyes Financial Secretary - Tom Labrado Treasurer - Charles Logsdon Lecturer - Deacon Simeon Panagatos Advocate - Jim Radigan Trustee One Year - Joey Albanese Trustee Two Year - Leonard Persinger Trustee Three Year - Josh Ezzell Warden - Rafael Parra Inside Guard - Frank Pittmann Outside Guard - Clint Carrigan Faith Director - Deacon Ernie Gartung Program Director - Michael Clinton Membership Director - Dr. Phil Alger Associate Membership Director - Dave Rinderer Life Director - Leonard Persinger Associate Life Director - Josh Lucas Family Director - Frank Pittmann Associate Family Director - John McKay Community Director - Adam Moosekian Associate Community Director - Kevin Via COR Director - Tom Labrado KIND Director - Clint Carrigan Fourth Degree Liaison - Joe Miller |
